请丧假 Funeral leave The purpose of this email is to request the day off on (date) because I'm attending the funeral of a close friend of mine.我写这封信是要告知您我在（日期）需要请假，因为当天我要参加一位挚友的丧礼。I'm writing to request a funeral leave on (date).我写这封信的目的是要在（日期）请丧假。

缺的进度怎么办？ Making up for the absence I will still be able to reply to emails when I'm not in the office. Should there be any urgent matter, (name of your colleague) will be there to help.我不在办公室时还是会回覆信件，但如果有紧急事务，（你的同事）可以帮忙。

注意！使用这句前，一定要先和那位同事讲好，请他暂代你的职务喔！
